On heroic mode, classes with a resurrection ability can revive him by interacting with him, after which he'll pause to cook some chicken before eventually charging ahead and getting himself killed swiftly if he should happen to run into any hostile NPCs.

I've yet to actually see him survive to reach his destination, but he seems to charge off once the third boss is defeated, and tries to go through one of the side paths leading out of the Blackrock Stadium.
